I inherited two good employees and a decent previously owned store. I joined all the chambers, leads group & Rotary. Things were great until I moved the shop in 2011 to a lager spot. My Konica Minolta C6501 was down more than up. No support from corporate. Lost a key employee and have yet to find a good replacement. The economy in Oregon tanked & I’m on the edge of losing my shop. I’ll take the responsibility for failing since I’m the owner, but I feel a lot of other factors contributed. I’d never own another franchise!

Comment on Children’s Education, Tutoring Franchise by fred olson http://www.franbest.com/industry/child-related/childrens-education-tutoring-franchise/comment-page-1/#comment-259445 Sun, 08 Jun 2014 21:27:47 +0000 http://www.franbest.com/?p=661#comment-259445 I just watched a video about children being molested at Kumon tutoring centers. It is scary. Now no place is safe for children.

http://abclocal.go.com/kabc/video?id=8348289&pid=8347625

I feel so sad for the kids. What the kids had been put through was inexcusable, which I realize happens a lot. Such incidents are awfully traumatic for children and they will have to live with a lifetime of guilt and shame.

My thoughts, well-wishes etc., go out to all children molested by their tutors :-(

Children should be encouraged to talk to their parents and tell them of such crimes as soon as they happen.

What happened to it? It’s no longer there and doesn’t seem like it moved, but just doesn’t exist anymore… Thanks if you could let me know if there is any news…

Want strength training THEN do strength training! Want to do cardio THEN do cardio! Can’t build muscle by jogging/running. Just look at Frank Shorter compared to Jack LaLanne.

Comment on Favorite BBQ Chains by Frank Van Dyne http://www.franbest.com/spotlight-story/spotlight-1/favorite-bbq-chains/comment-page-1/#comment-192801 Tue, 25 Jun 2013 19:06:23 +0000 http://www.franbest.com/2010/06/08/favorite-bbq-chains/#comment-192801 Are Looking For Your Next Great BBQ Franshise Location?

I need a great tasting well run BBQ restaurant franchise in my mall in Warrenton Missouri. Kansas City style BBQ preferred but not mandatory.

The Warrenton Outlet Center (WOC) is situated virtually curbside on I70 in the far west St. Louis metro. Almost adjacent to the WOC will be a new $31M, I70 east/west interchange which breaks ground at the end of the year. Over 43,000+ vehicles virtually come face to face with the WOC stores each day. Hundreds of travelers from as far west as Arizona, New Mexico, California, and Colorado, and as far east as the Atlantic coast make the Warrenton Outlet Center their enroute destination point. This is not to mention the dozens of couples and families from Columbia MO, St. Louis, Iowa, Southern Missouri and Arkansas who come to spend a few hours or the day, just to hang out.

Bring your business to one of the most famous Missouri locations west of the Gateway Arch. The WOC has become a destination point in itself. You’d be hard pressed to find someone on the streets of St. Louis who didn’t know of the Warrenton Outlet Center.

The Warrenton Outlet Center is the cornerstone to the Warrenton Business Development Zone. This Center once drew 4,000 vehicles on weekends and 6,500 vehicles during the week. Be part of the regrowth of Warrenton Outlet Center. This shopping centers defies retail demographics.

Come view your restaurants next space and reserve an unbelieveable rent rate. At these rates your competitors in a year or two won’t be able to compete with your restaurant.

The Warrenton Outlet Center has an unforgetable night time ambiance that will greatly benefit your night time business.
